This cuvée is made from our best plot of Chardonnay, planted in the Fief de la Gîte on a subsoil of alteration of schists. After 12 months of ageing, this wine is crisp and full-bodied with a long finish.
12 months in concrete vats, 228L barrels and 400L barrels of various origins. In 2019, this plot was almost entirely destroyed by spring frost, as a consequence we were compelled to age it only in oak barrels.
5 to 10 years
Body: pale yellow with golden reflections, limpid. Nose: Yellow fruit, pear, quince, buttery notes with hints of almond. Mouth: Crisp wine with a silky start, a generous mouth and a delicate finish led by minerality. Notes of yellow stonefruits. Notes of yellow stonefruits.
